We learned about the artist (woop! woop!) Burton Morris and discussed our newest vocabulary word, EMPHASIS, and how it's used in artwork. Morris used white highlights in his work to make his subjects "POP" and so did we!
Using crayons, paper, markers, and glue, these creative kiddos put their 'smartest artist' knowledge to use in an eye "POP"-ing way, check it out!
And the faculty seems to be pretty thrilled with them as well ... see that Valentine love just POP!
We love you too, Mr. Edge!
