We watched a super sweet and touching short film made by a college student from Ringling, and even read a Day of the Dead book in Spanish!
After reviewing our newest 'smartest artist' vocabulary word, we got out the oil pastels and made sure that each side of our skulls' face was exactly the same.
And meanwhile, in ART club, we moved onto an advanced form of art making to create some spooky happy SPIDERS to hang in the hallway! We learned that when you mix the primary colors, you get the secondary colors, orange, green, and purple. And since those colors happen to be kind of spooky anyway, decorated our papier mache spiders with secondary colors! Way too much fun, folks!
